God is With Us
In the car as we drive home from work after a stressful day
At the grocery store as we struggle with an impatient toddler
In the living room as we argue with our spouse over the bills
At school as little Suzy sings in her first school play
At the doctor's office as we await test results
In the courtroom as we defend our poor choices
In the pew as we lift our hands in worship
In the kitchen as we complain of nothing to eat
At the hair salon while we get a new 'do
In the parking lot as we change an unexpected flat tire.
As we decorate the Christmas tree and sing carols
and
As we hang up lights and bake holiday cookies
and
As we countdown the days on our Advent calendar
and
As we remember His birth, life, death and resurrection.
He is always with us.
During the normal days and the abnormal days.
During the holidays and every other day.
During the cold months and the warm months.
During the heartache and the smiles.
He is here.
